The Basketball world and the entire universe was thrown into mourning few hours back with the news of the shocking death of LA Lakers Superstar, Kobe Bryant who died in a helicopter crash alongside 4 others.

He was reported to be travelling in his own private chopper with 4 others when the unfortunate incident happened.

Unconfirmed reports says the other 5 people onboard were his daughters. We can’t confirm the veracity of this claim yet.

The cause of the crash is still unknown.

Kobe Bryant, 41, who is an 18-time NBA All-Star made history when he won 5 championships with his basket ball team. He became NBA’s Most Valuable Player in 2008 after winning in the voting category and also went on to scoop two gold medals in 2008 and 2012 with the USA Men’s Basketball team. He also won an Academy Award in 2018 for a short film which he dubbed “Dear Basketball”

He is often compared to Michael Jordan due to his exploits in the game.

Bryant is survived by his wife, Vanessa and 4 children.

May his soul rest in peace.
