OONI OF IFE TO DONATE TWO (2) MODULARS TO EVERY STATE IN THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC INCLUDING THE FCT- ABUJA

Okediran Adeyemi

Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, have promised to donate Two (2) modular to every state in the federal republic including the FCT– Abuja to help in fumigating highly dense areas, thus helping to flatten the curve and eliminate the spread of the virus.

He said, “the sting of the monstrous virus Covid-19 is no longer news, with everyone across the globe being impacted by the adverse effect of the rampaging virus.” The fight against Covid-19 at this unprecedented time is not only for our National patriotic health workers on the front lines, but for us all to remain responsible and do the best we can for our Nation.

In my relentless quest in supporting the Government’s National efforts in curbing the spread of COVID-19, I have come up with a beautiful initiative alongside some youths for a locally fabricated fumigator.

Incontrovertibly, it is time for us to start looking inward and developing ideas that suit our environment with total dependence on ourselves. The power of National fabrication of fumigation mechanisms such as this can articulate the modern positive trajectories of excellence and multitude of innovative potentials that are imbibed in Nigeria and Africa’s young population. We need to learn to be innovative like during the days of World War II, like Japan and the seven Asian Tigers that repositioned their respective countries, the emergence of Morris minor from Italy and Volkswagen Beetle from Germany. This modular can well be used after the pandemic in the areas of agriculture, construction, sports and several others.

I will be donating Two (2) modular to every state in the federal republic including the FCT– Abuja to help in fumigating highly dense areas, thus helping to flatten the curve and eliminate the spread of the virus. My greatest concern in these times are especially in the area of food sharing, the less privilege tend to rush, thus not adhering to the social distancing rule, this will help in fumigating these areas and making them safer. This measure is convincingly a journey back to normalcy, helping to resuscitate our socioeconomic activities back to the usual.
