Eze Victor Agala, a legal practitioner from Ibaa in Emohua LGA of Rivers State, collapsed and passed away outside a courtroom in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
Agala’s sudden collapse occurred just as he exited the Magistrate Court building on Moscow Road, sending shockwaves through the legal community. Despite immediate efforts to assist him, he was swiftly transported to the Police Clinic where medical personnel confirmed his untimely demise.
The Port Harcourt branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident. However, friends and colleagues of the deceased have taken to social media platforms to express their grief and pay tribute to his memory.
The circumstances surrounding Agala’s collapse remain unclear, leaving many in the legal fraternity deeply saddened by the unexpected loss of a respected member of their community.
