Ghanaian singer and rapper, Mohammed Ismail Sherif, popularly known as Black Sherif, has expressed his joy at Ivory Coast’s triumph over Nigeria in the final of the recently concluded African Cup of Nations, AFCON.
Black Sherif’s elation stems from a desire for payback, as he revealed that some of his Nigerian colleagues had mocked him when Ghana’s Black Stars exited the competition in the group stage. In response, he vowed to continue trolling Nigeria following their defeat in the final.
Taking to his social media platform, Black Sherif shared his sentiments, recounting how Nigerian colleagues, including Blaqbonez and Odumodu, teased him relentlessly after Ghana’s elimination. He humorously recounted Odumodu’s suggestion to commission a cheap jewelry piece for him, prompted by Ghana’s early exit from the tournament.
Asserting his intention to persist in taunting Nigeria, Black Sherif humorously signed off, referencing the upcoming rematch: “We go again this afternoon. Super Eagles! You do this one.”
