ABUJA – Two months after she left for the United Kingdom, Nigeria’s First Lady Mrs. Aisha Buhari returned to the country in the early hours of Sunday.
On ground to receive her at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, were wives of present and former governors, aides and friends.
She came aboard a British Airways flight that landed in Abuja at about 4:30 a.m.
Prompt News Online had reported late Saturday night that Mrs Buhari had left London, and was seeing off by Wife of the Nigerian High Commissioner to UK, Mrs Modupe Oguntade.

The president’s wife had announced her coming back to the country last night while leaving London, at about 8:56 p.m.
While speaking to reporters on arrival, Mrs Buhari said she was happy to be home after a well-deserved rest.
The First Lady who thanked her husband and family for their support said she was fully rejuvenated to continue the work of improving the health and well-being of women, children and other vulnerable Nigerians.
