Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun on Wednesday warned judicial officers that corruption, frivolous ex-parte orders and interim injunctions often granted by some judges would not be tolerated under her leadership. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.), has released estimated prices of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), known as fuel, obtained from the Dangote Refinery in its retail stations nationwide. According to NNPC Ltd., the prices are based on Sept. 2024 pricing. The NNPC Ltd. said it bought fuel from the Dangote Refinery at N898 per litre for PMS offtake. Ex-American President Donald Trump is safe following a fresh assassination attempt at his Florida golf course on Sunday afternoon, and a “potential suspect”, named as Ryan Routh by several media outlets, is in custody, US authorities have confirmed. A Nigerian woman working as a nurse in the United Kingdom, has been sentenced to three years in prison for neglecting her 10-week-old baby, Joshua Akerele, who died while she was at work. The 28-year-old single mother had reportedly left Joshua alone in her nurse’s accommodation for eight hours on December 20, 2022, to complete her shift, according to a Daily Mail report.
