The Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA) on Thursday said the Senate bill banning the importation of generators would be inimical to the quality of lives of Nigerians and national development as a whole. The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) says the agency is working toward having a calendar to accommodate the period between product inspection after certificate and approval. The Acting Coordinator of Border Drill Operation, Sector 3, Compt. Garba Mohammed has hinted that the Federal Government would review the policy on the closure of filling stations in border communities. The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has assured Nigerians of the safety of corps members in the various orientation camps across the country. Brig.-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim, the Director-General of the NYSC, said this while answering questions from newsmen at the Anambra Permanent Orientation Camp in Umuawulu/Mbaukwu on Thursday.
