The Imo House of Assembly on Tuesday passed the state Appropriation Bill of N197 billion for the 2020 fiscal year. The Sokoto State House of Assembly on Tuesday passed the state’s 2020 Appropriation Bill of N202.4 billion. This followed the adoption of the report of the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation at plenary. Presenting the report, Chairman of the Committee, Alhaji Malami Muhmmad (PDP-Sokoto South II), explained that the committee did not add or subtract from the figures presented by Gov. The Osun House of Assembly on Tuesday passed the N119. 5 billion 2020 Budget, N35 billion less than the N154 billion budgeted in 2019. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Osun 2020 budget, christened “Budget of Restoration,” was presented before the Assembly on Nov. 13 by Gov. Gboyega Oyetola. President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has condemned the attack by yet unidentified gunmen on the country home of former President Goodluck Jonathan in Otuoke, Bayelsa State in the early hours of Tuesday.
