CBN expects 2.38% GDP growth by Q4
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) expects to achieve 2.38 per cent Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate in the fourth quarter of this year. Dr Hassan Mahmoud, the Deputy Director, Financial Policy and Regulation Department in CBN, said this in Yola at the 2019 workshop for financial journalists sponsored by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC). MG Vowgas Group will launch the first made in Nigeria fabricated airboat before the end of January 2020, the Managing Director, Mr Godwin Izomor, has said. Niger State Community Social Development Agency (NSCSDA) said it spent over N1 billion on its intervention programmes in over 400 communities from 2009 to date across the state. Alhaji Yusuf Usman, the General Manager of CSDA, disclosed this during the monitoring tour of projects the agency executed in Leprosy Colony in Paiko and Hamdallahi communities, Lapai Local Government Areas of the state.
