A Sharia Court ll, sitting in Magajin Gari, Kaduna State on Thursday ordered a civil servant, Mr Abubakar Bello, to enroll his two children in school within seven days. The Judge, Murtala Nasir, ordered that the children must be enrolled in a school close to his former wife’s house. The judge also ordered Bello to pay N12, 000 monthly for the upkeep of the two children and permitted him to visit them whenever he wishes. The Senate on Thursday received a request from President Muhammadu Buhari for the confirmation of Adeleke Moronfolu Adewolu as Executive Commissioner of the Nigerian Communications Commission. The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the murder of Mr Pius Ukrakpo, who was allegedly stabbed to death for running after another man’s wife at Jeddo community in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State. Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the incident to TribuneOnline late Wednesday night in a telephone chat. A long rivalry between two families in Isiozi Umuaka, Imostate, escalated yesterday after one of the parties dug out two corpses of the rival family, three weeks after the burial. According to reports, the corpses were those of a mother and her daughter-in-law who died 6 and 4 years ago respectively, but couldn’t be buried due to the dispute between the families. However, the family of the deceased persons proceeded to bury them three weeks ago, but the rival family, insisting that the case is still in court, dug out the corpses. See the images below:
