Officials of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday began screening of 67 Nigerian returnees who were placed in isolation by the Lagos State Government in two hotels in Badagry. The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ondo has directed all the 18 local government inspectors of the scheme to establish ‘Corpers’ Fund’ for the COVID-19 pandemic in their respective council areas. No fewer than eight people lost their lives in multiple accidents involving six petrol tankers and a car at Oloru-Kanbi in Moro Local Government Area of Kwara on Wednesday.
