Gov. Willie Obiano of Anambra on Saturday announced the total lockdown of the state following the positive confirmation of a suspected Coronavirus Disease patient in the state. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Friday announced the approval of a 745-million-dollar loan to help Tunisia cope with the economic fallout of the coronavirus pandemic. “The COVID-19 pandemic has hit Tunisia hard. “The pandemic will worsen Tunisia’s already elevated macroeconomic imbalances and will also create urgent fiscal and balance of payment needs,” Mitsuhiro Furusawa, the IMF deputy managing director said in a statement. The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, on Saturday, announced the death of another COVID-19 patient, making it the fourth COVID-19 related deaths recorded in the state. Abayomi, through his verified Twitter account, said that the patient died of COVID-19 related complications in a private hospital in Lagos. He, however, did not disclose further information about the patient’s sex, age or nationality.
