Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno was in Diffa, Niger Republic on Saturday, where he met about 120,000 refugees, who mostly hailed from local governments in the northern part of Borno state. The  Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA has begun a search for one 22-year-old Daibo Davis who jumped from the Third Mainland Bridge on Saturday. The Police in Katsina State has confirmed 30 persons killed by bandits in Batsari Local Government Area of the state. The Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) Gambo Isah, who confirmed the incident on Saturday, said that the victims were killed in Tsauwa and Dankar villages in the area. He said the bandits invaded the two villages riding on motorcycles on Friday night and begun to shoot residents of the two villages.
