The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to de-register more political parties to sanitize Nigeria’s electoral system. The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) says it has sealed 13 steel factories across the nation for standards infractions. Mr Enebi Onucheyo, Chairman, SON Task Force on Steel told newsmen on Monday in Lagos. According to Onucheyo, the factories located in Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Abia, and Edo states will remain shut till further notice. There was serious panic in Nekede, near Owerri, on Monday morning, following the reported escape of a male hyena from the Imo Zoological Garden and Wildlife Park. The General Manager of the park, Mr Francis Abioye, confirmed the development to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Owerri.
