MTN Nigeria Communications Plc on Friday said its case with the Federal Government over alleged revenue indebtedness of N242.24 billion and $1.28 billion had been withdrawn. Chief Imam of National Mosque Abuja, Prof. Shehu Galadanci, has commended the Armed Forces of Nigeria for successes so far recorded in the war against insurgency. A Lagos State mobile court on Friday convicted four people for different environmental offences as the state Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, demolished illegal structures, including car marts and mechanic workshops. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Lagos State task force on environmental sanitation arraigned the offenders before Magistrate Abimbola Oshodi-Makanju in Ikoyi. The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) on Friday said the Final Billing System (FBS) would ensure immediate closure of all vessel’s transactions within two weeks. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Oyo State has warned driving school operators in the state against churning out unqualified drivers. The Oyo State Sector Commander of FRSC, Mrs Uche Chukwurah, gave the warning on Friday during the annual party and award night organized by the Driving School Association of Nigeria (DSAN) in the state. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says Sen. Shehu Sani, who is being detained by the commission for alleged extortion, has a case to answer.
