Buhari Justifies Sack of Osinbajo’s Aides
The ongoing reorganization at the Presidential Villa is aimed at enhancing service delivery to Nigerians, President Muhammadu Buhari has said. The Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, has expressed fears that Nigeria may experience the Brexit experience, unless youths in the country are given political education to make them understand the issue of restructuring. The Kano State Government has allocated over N30 billion to the health sector in its 2020 budget proposal presented recently to the State House of Assembly for approval. The state Commissioner of Health, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim-Tsanyawa told newsmen after he appeared before the Assembly to defend the proposed budget estimate for the sector. He said that the proposed budget for the ministry represents 15 per cent of the over N197 billion proposed for the state by Gov.Ganduje. Flood victims in Shanga Local Government Area of Kebbi on Friday received assistance of 14,000 bags of fertilizer and other inputs donated by the National Food Security Council. News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the donation was distributed to the 2018 flood victims in the area by the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).
