The Senate Committee on Niger Delta has rejected the 2020 budget of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs headed by a former Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio. Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Niger Delta asked that the budget be re-represented, citing the omission of major ongoing projects in its capital appropriation. Justice Olukayode Adeniyi of an FCT High Court in Apo, on Tuesday adjourned the trial of the former Director General, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), Bature Masari, until Dec. 12 . The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has advised pharmacists and patent medicine dealers to store medicines with due care, to sustain their shelf life and potency. The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) says it has approved the regulation of the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) on telecommunications companies, line with the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).
