A Federal High Court in Lagos will on Tuesday begin the alleged card fraud trial of musician, Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley, who is facing card fraud charges. Fashola, popular for his “Am I a Yahoo Boy” and “Soapy” tracks, is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on an 11-count charge of conspiracy, possession of counterfeit cards and fraud. Motorists in Lagos on Tuesday called on Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu to ensure the ongoing road rehabilitation projects across the state are of good quality. The motorists, who spoke with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos, commended Sanwo-Olu for swinging into action to repair roads, but said that many government initiated road repairs do not last. The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has neutralised several Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters at Bukar Meram on the fringes of Lake Chad in the northern part of Borno.
