The Kaduna State Police Command, has confirmed the abduction of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Musa Rambo, the Police Area Commander in Suleja. Confirming the incident, the spokesman of the command, DSP Yakubu Sabo, said the ACP was abducted on Saturday at about 3.30pm. Sabo said on Sunday in Kaduna that the police officer’s car with registration number KRD 753 BT and his ID card were found abandoned along the road by a team of Operation Safe Heaven. Ogun Govt marks 526 buildings for demolition
The Ogun State Government, on Saturday sealed off two dilapidated buildings in Abeokuta and ordered occupants of the houses to move out within 24 hours. The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Urban and Physical Planning, Mr. Nafiu Adebiyi, told newsmen during an inspection tour that 526 other houses built on waterways, canal and erosion channels had been marked for demolition across the state. The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has announced the death of his mother, Ugoeze Sally Meme Kanu. Kanu, who announced this on Sunday morning, said his mother died on 30th August in Germany after doctors were unable to cure her of a protracted illness. Fire on Saturday night engulfed the popular Santana Market along Sapele Road by Oba Eradiawa junction Benin City, Edo State.
