However, El Desmarque reports that the Gunners face stiff competition from Roma and Bayer Leverkusen. Vazquez’s future seems to be away from the Bernabeu, with Brazilian forwards Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr. set to be given more opportunities in the first-team. Arsenal would see an ideal alternative for Vazquez, who has won three Champions League with Real. Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has berated the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, Hameed Ali over the closure of the country’s border. The customs boss had explained that the country’s borders were closed to checkmate three issues, including importation of arms and ammunition, smuggling and human trafficking. The Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has warned traditional rulers in the state against conniving with criminals, vowing to remove anyone found wanting. He gave the warning when he received members of the State Council of Traditional Rulers led by the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Adamu, at Government House, Bauchi. The Commissioner for Finance, Bauchi State, Nura Manu Soro, has resigned his position barely 40 days after he was sworn into office. Soro was sworn in by Governor Bala Mohammed at the Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall on September 6, along with 19 others.
