The Abia House of Assembly has called on federal lawmakers from the state to draw Federal Government’s attention to the deplorable condition of federal roads in the state. Lagos State Government has declared a state of emergency on various dilapidated highways and carriages within the State. The Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, has confirmed the collapse of a storey building in Isheri Magodo, Lagos, killing a mother and three children. The building situated at 48 Arisha Water front Otun Araromi Street, Magodo Phase 1, collapsed on another building killing a family of four.
