The ECOWAS Court of Justice has ordered the Federal Republic of Nigeria to pay N10 million compensation for the violation of right to work to Pte. Barnabas Eli. The judgment is contained in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Monday. The suspect confessed to have raped a number of minors in his area in Kafin Koro community in Paikoro local government area of Niger state. Private schools in Rwanda are on the verge of closing down due to low patronage. A report by Daily Nation says desperate proprietors who face closure of their institutions are now asking the government to sponsor students in private schools at public rates.
