The UN Development Programme (UNDP), has released 30 million U.S. dollars to Nigeria from the regional stabilization facility for the humanitarian crisis in the North East. Olaide Oyelude, Katsina the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has offered to pay the medical bills of a three-year-old girl, Halima Abdullahi, from Katsina State, who was born with a congenital disorder commonly called cleft lip. The National Economic Council (NEC) on Thursday advised the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to engage the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) to identify markets for stolen products across the continent. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and has governors, among others, as members. Gov. A middle aged man whose identity is still unknown has been washed away on Tuesday in Oluyole area of Ibadan South West Local government Area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. DAILY POST reports that the incident occurred Thursday evening, following a torrential downpour in the city.
