Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba, on Monday announced the confirmation two new cases of COVID-19 in the state by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). The Kano State Ministry of Health has disclosed that two additional deaths of the COVID-19 have been recorded making a total of three confirmed deaths in the state. The ministry made this known on its official Twitter handle @KNSMOH, that at 12:15 p.m. of April 27, 2020, two additional deaths of COVID-19 were confirmed. NAN reports that total confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the state stood at 77 total confirmed cases, no discharged case, and three deaths. The ministry, however, ordered residents to take responsibility and exercise social distancing at all levels.

The Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) says it has donated Four million Naira to support the Federal Government’s efforts to fight against the spread of novel Coronavirus pandemic. President Muhammadu Buhari has announced new measures that will take effect nationwide as part of measures to contain the ravaging novel coronavirus in Nigeria. The Akwa Ibom Commissioner for Works, Mr Ephraim Inyangeyen, has said that no Commissioner in the state tested positive of the novel coronavirus as insinuated in the social media. Unity Bank Plc on Monday donated N10 million to the Ondo State Government in support of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in the state. One person was killed in a storey building that collapsed on Sunday at the Onipasan area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday.
