It was an evening of tributes and backslapping as some management and staff of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) on Tuesday organized a modest send forth for Mr Joseph Anichebe, erstwhile Director of Public Communications of the organization at its corporate head office in Abuja.
Led by the Director General of BPE, Mr Alex Okoh the staff, one after another extolled the sterling qualities of Achebe who is leaving the organization after two decades of meritorious service to the nation.
Until his retirement, Anichebe a consummate journalist,was the Director of Institutions and Natural Resources at the BPE.
He will be leaving public service to venture into private broadcasting as the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Owelle FM Radio Station in Enugu.
