Princess Islamiyat Abiodun Oyefusi has formally announced her resignation from the Labour Party, marking the end of a significant chapter in her political journey. In a heartfelt letter addressed to party officials and supporters, Oyefusi expressed gratitude for her tenure while citing diverging values as the catalyst for her decision to part ways with the party.
Reflecting on her 10-month tenure within the Labour Party, Oyefusi expressed gratitude to the Almighty for guiding her political path and ensuring her well-being throughout. She extended appreciation to Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour for the opportunity to serve as his deputy, acknowledging the valuable political experience gained during her tenure.
