Comedian and actor, Lawrence Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has reaffirmed his steadfast support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration, urging fellow Nigerians to rally behind the visionary leader amidst ongoing criticism. In a heartfelt message shared on his social media handle on Sunday, Seyi Law drew inspiration from the biblical narrative of Moses, emphasizing the importance of enduring challenges under a transformative leader for the greater good.
Expressing his unwavering commitment to Tinubu’s leadership, Seyi Law stated, “I would rather stay with a Moses through the wilderness to Canaan than eat meats and drink wine in slavery in Egypt at the expense of my children’s future.” His analogy underscores his belief in the long-term vision and potential positive impact of Tinubu’s leadership on Nigeria’s future.
Despite acknowledging criticisms leveled against Tinubu’s administration, Seyi Law remained resolute in his support, advocating for constructive engagement and sustained progress. He highlighted the need for effective communication of government agendas, efforts, and actions to foster understanding and support among the populace.
Addressing the challenges faced at the state level, Seyi Law lamented the lack of effective governance and urged state governors to prioritize the welfare and development of their citizens. He called for innovative policies in key sectors such as agriculture, power, and health, emphasizing the importance of people-driven initiatives for national advancement.
While acknowledging the frustrations of some Nigerians, Seyi Law remained optimistic about the country’s future and pledged to continue offering constructive criticism while condemning unworthy actions. Despite facing criticism from some quarters, Seyi Law remained steadfast in his support for Tinubu, asserting, “if another election was held tomorrow, I would still vote Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
