These beggars fondly called “Almajiri” are factors that can influence the spread of the communicable novel COVID-19.

According to WHO, A number of environmental factors influence the spread of communicable diseases that are prone to cause epidemics. The most important of these are water supply, sanitation facilities, and climate.

A lack of safe water, inadequate excreta disposal facilities, poor hygiene, poor living conditions, and unsafe food can all cause diarrheal diseases. These diseases are a major cause of suffering and death in an emergency situation.

Climate can affect disease transmission in a variety of ways. The distribution and population size of disease vectors can be heavily affected by the local climate. Flooding after heavy rains can result in sewage overflow and widespread water contamination. In addition, there is some evidence to suggest that pathogens can be spread from one region to another along air streams or by the wind.

This moment of National Emergency provides ample? Opportunity for Gov. Babajide Sanwoolu of Lagos state to pay special attention to all the Almajiri‘s or Maibara‘s in the Smart City in bringing to fruition his THEMES agenda by evacuating, testing and finally send them back to their family if truly the war against Coronavirus is not being fought with levity or to further vindicate those who themed it as conspiracy and COVID-19 scam.

“An emergency situation demands emergency response’ Consequently all these homeless beggars without landlords, landladies to their respective home states and relatives because they are COVID-19 and other related diseases exposed persons.

Gov. Sanwoolu‘s take the beggars of the streets is an aggressive and critical life-saving mission that will help in preventing the spread of the Chinese virus and other diseases in various Communities these maibara” beggars” dwell across the state to curb the scary and alarming of community spread of the virus.
