The Lagos State Government has partnered with Julius Berger Plc in continuation of the disinfection and fumigation of public places in the state to curtail the spread of COVID-19. Another batch of 23 Nigerian returnees from the Togo Republic arrived Seme Border Post in Lagos State in the early hours of Sunday, the News Agency of Nigeria reports (NAN) reports. NAN gathered that the 23 Nigerians, who came from different parts of the world, had landed in Lome on Ethiopian Airlines over two weeks ago. At least 20 states in Nigeria have recorded COVID-19 cases. This follows the latest update from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday. A total of 13 new cases were confirmed. A breakdown shows that eleven are in Lagos, one in Delta and one in Kano. It is the first time Kano and Ondo would be included in the statistics.
