The authorities at the State House, Abuja, on Wednesday commenced screening of staff and visitors as part of deliberate efforts to check the possible spread of coronavirus. An Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court, on Wednesday, ordered that a 47-year-old businessman, Chinedu Ihukwumere, who allegedly defiled his 15-year-old niece, be remanded in a Correctional Centre pending legal advice. The police on Wednesday arraigned Lere Olayinka, 47, the spokesman to former Ekiti Governor, Ayodele Fayose, in an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates’ Court for alleged N13.5 million fraud. Justice Danlami Senchi of the Federal Capital Territory High Court Wednesday granted an order of interim injunction stopping Mr. Adams Oshiomhole from parading himself as the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). Granting the injunction, the Judge posited that political parties must be bound by their constitution.
