The University of Lagos, Akoka has offered employment to no fewer than 100 graduates of the university, who made first class in various fields of study in the university. The Osun Government on Monday announced the abolition of the same school uniform policy for students in public schools in the state which was introduced by the immediate past administration of Gov. The Ogun Government has launched a mobile application to enhance information dissemination among health workers in the state in order to contain the coronavirus. The Commissioner for Health, Dr Tomi Coker, disclosed this at a meeting with the Emergency Operation Committee (EOC) on Monday in Abeokuta. According to her, the Android application christened, “CommCare,” will serve as a base for information about case definition. Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State on Monday called on the Federal Government (FG) to reimburse state governments for Federal roads repaired by them. Akeredolu made the call in Akure when Gbemisola Saraki, Minister of State for Transportation, paid him a courtesy visit. Abdullahi Sule to provide fire service response units in all the 13 local government headquarters of the state in order to tackle incessant fire outbreaks. The Nigerian Navy, Forward Operating Base (FOB), Ibaka, in Mbo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom, has arrested 10 suspects for allegedly smuggling 956 bags of banned 50kg rice in the state. The Commanding Officer, Capt. Peter Yilme made the disclosure while briefing newsmen in Mbo, Akwa Ibom on Monday.
