The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has called on candidates who registered for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in some recently blacklisted centres that there is nothing to worry about. Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, on Friday, approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, which affected two Ministries. An Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)’s star witness, on Friday, alleged that Gabriel Suswam, former Governor of Benue State, transferred N3.1 billion into his account. Mr Abubakar Umar, an Abuja-based Bureau De Change (BDC) Operator, told Justice Okon Abang at the Federal High Court, Abuja, that the money was transferred through a company, Elixir Investment, in bits into his company’s account name, Fanffash Resources, at the Zenith Bank. World Health Organisation (WHO) on Thursday declared coronavirus as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). WHO Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the decision was based on the recommendations of the Emergency Committee on the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) under the International Health Regulations (IHR 2005). Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday paid an unscheduled visit to the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where he briefly met with President Muhammadu Buhari.
