The Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Lokoja in Kogi, has confirmed three cases of Lassa fever with one recorded death at the facility in the last one week. The West African Health Organisation, WAHO, has said that it is critical that all countries in West Africa collaborate with each other to take precautionary measures against the outbreak of Coronavirus in the region. An FCT High Court on Monday sentenced Maryam Sanda, the woman who stabbed her husband to death, Bilyaminu, son of a former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Haliru Bello, to death by hanging. A policewoman, Insp. Vivian Nduka, on Monday, narrated how a driver, Adelaja Oloyede, allegedly raped a tailor in his house at Ikorodu, near Lagos with the aid of black magic known also as “juju”.
