The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says its Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation LAFIYA DOLE has neutralized scores of Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) in the Sambisa Forest area of Borno. Africa’s leading chemical and agro-allied company, Notore Chemical Industries Plc, has drawn down a ₦13.32 billion facility from the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) for a Turn-Around Maintenance (TAM) program to achieve nameplate capacity of its plant in 2020. This was disclosed in the company’s Report for the Financial Year Ended (FYE) on September 30, 2019. The Kaduna State Government on Friday released eight persons arrested by personnel of Operation Thunder Strike for alleged involvement in kidnapping, banditry and cattle rustling in Kagarko Local Government Area of the state. Mr Samuel Aruwan, the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, who announced their release while addressing newsmen in Kaduna, said the eight were cleared after thorough investigation. The Police Command in Enugu State says that no life or property was lost in the minor fire outbreak which occurred at the mattress section of Ogbete Main Market, Enugu on Friday.
