Gov. David Umahi of Ebonyi has directed that the new minimum wage be paid to civil servants in Ebonyi by Jan.10, 2020. Over 7, 000 Almajiris have so far been captured by the Niger State Government under the Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA), a World Bank assisted programme. The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai, on Friday, inaugurated an ultra-modern building complex for the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences for the Nigerian Army University, Biu, Borno State. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the university, which was established in 2017, commenced academic activities in 2018 with about 1,000 students into different courses of study.
