Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State on Tuesday said the 2020 Appropriation Bill termed ‘Budget of Growth’ which was signed into law, provided for the aggregate expenditure of N187.8 billion. Akeredolu made this known in Akure during the signing of the 2020 Appropriation Bill into law. Three men, Omotosho Aliu, 52; Oyelowo Akande, 56 and Taiwo Abayomi, 52, on Tuesday, appeared before an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates’ Court over alleged conspiracy. The defendants, whose addresses are unknown, are facing a one-count charge of conspiracy. The Police Prosecutor, Insp. A Plateau High Court on Tuesday declared that Former Governor of Plateau, Jonah Jang, has a case to answer in an alleged N6.3 billion money Laundering filed against him and one Yusuf Pam, Former Cashier, by EFCC. Justice Daniel Longji, the presiding Judge, State High Court IV, who is retiring on Tuesday, Dec. 31, made the declaration in his ruling on a No case submission made by Jang and Pam through their counsels.
