The Enugu State Independent National Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) says it will conduct local government election in the state on Feb. 29, 2020. A 42-year-old man, Obinna Adindu, was on Wednesday docked at a Federal High Court in Lagos, over a drug trafficking charge preferred against him by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The defendant is standing trial on a one-count charge of allegedly exporting 1.62kg of heroin. The criminal charge marked FHC/L/397C/2019, is pending before Justice Mohammed Liman. The Police in Niger had arrested one Yakubu Abubakar of Aninigi village of Paikoro Local Government Area for giving a neighbour fake bulletproof charm. The Police Command in Bayelsa on Wednesday confirmed the burning of two suspected kidnappers in the Otuagala Community in Ogbia Local Government Area of the state by the mob. The suspected criminals were involved in the kidnap of three students of the College of Health and Technology, Otuogidi.
