Rohr is expected to arrive the country from Cairo, Egypt where he went to offer support to the Olympic Eagles ahead of the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations. An Ikeja Special Offences Court, on Friday, sentenced a 38-year-old barber, Jobi Kayode, to 20 years in prison for defiling his 12-year-old neighbour (name withheld). Nestlé Nigeria Plc has announced its financial results for nine months period ending Sept. 30, 2019. The financial results made available to the News agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Lagos, showed that for the period January to September 2019, the company recorded a revenue of N211.3 billion – a growth of 4.0 percent over the same period in the previous year and a profit after tax of N36.8 billion. Deputy Speaker of the Cross River House of Assembly, Mr Joseph Bassey has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for ordering a forensic audit of the operations of the Niger Delta Development Commission from 2001 to 2019. Fayemi presents N124 bn budget for 2020
Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti on Friday presented a budget of N124 billion for 2020 to the State House of Assembly for approval. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that the budget christened ‘Budget of Deliverables’ has N53.53 billon, representing 43 per cent as capital expenditure, while the recurrent expenditure is N71.18 billion, representing 57 per cent.
