Angry Mob Monday morning burnt to death three suspected “one chance” robbers at Dutse Alhaji area in Abuja, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports. The suspects were three young men, while the female victim was rushed to Kubwa General Hospital for treatment. A Magistrates’ Court in Ilorin on Monday ordered that a 20-year-old herder, Muhammad Rebu-Babuga, 20, who allegedly killed his colleague, be remanded in a correction centre. Rebu-Babuga is charged with culpable homicide. Magistrate Tinu Ajayi adjourned the case until Oct. 22 for hearing. The prosecution counsel, Insp. In a bid to contribute to stemming crime in South Africa, the Nigeria Union South Africa (NUSA) has initiated an anti-crime campaign to reduce the rate of criminal activities in that country. The Benin Zonal Command of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) says the command has arrested 19 people for suspected human trafficking. The Zonal Commander, Mr Nduka Nwanwenne, whose command comprises Edo and Delta, made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Benin on Monday. Some U.S. agencies and private firms have pledged support for a U.S.- Nigeria co-creation strategy to upscale financing, capacity development and technology transfer in agribusiness in Nigeria. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is to hold a stakeholders forum in November to review the 2019 general elections in Kwara. Malam Garba Attahiru-Madami, INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Kwara, disclosed this on Monday at a meeting with members of the Interparty Advisory Council (IPAC) in Ilorin. Prof. Sulyman Abdulkareem, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, has advised the public and prospective students to be wary of unscrupulous elements, who are out to defraud them through purported admission lists. Abdulkareem, who gave this warning while speaking with newsmen on Monday in Ilorin, pointed out that no admission lists had been released yet by the university.
