Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has rejected bags of rice sent to the state by the Federal Government as palliatives. It was gathered that most of the 1800 bags received by the state from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management were not fit for human consumption. The Police Command in Anambra has arrested one Ibuchi Nwoju, a 26-year-old security guard for allegedly stabbing one Cletus Chisom, 22, to death. Saudi Arabia has abolished the death sentence on individuals who committed crimes while still minors. The state-backed Human Rights Commission (HRC) disclosed this in a statement, citing a royal decree by King Salman, on Sunday.
