Residents of Ilorin in Kwara have taken to early morning exercises in order to keep fit even as the lockdown is extended. The Lagos State Government has commenced decontamination of animal markets in the state, saying it is committed to the promotion of advocacy in environmental health to protect humans and animals from harm. The Borno State Government has quarantined 70 travelers for defying the lockdown order imposed to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the state. The state deputy governor, Alhaji Umar Kadafur, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Maiduguri on Sunday while monitoring compliance with the stay-at-home directive in Maiduguri. The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari and the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to ensure the safety of journalists in Ebonyi State.
