The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has suspended a staff, Mrs Jamila Muhammad, over alleged gratification and abuse of office. NIMC General Manager, Operations and Corporate Communications, Mr Abdulhamid Umar said this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja. Umar said the affected staff was being prosecuted by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) over allegations of gratification and abuse of office. Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ondo State says it has adopted proactive measures to prevent the outbreak of communicable diseases especially Coronavirus in the Orientation camp. The Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, Sidie Mohammed Tunis on Tuesday urged ECOWAS member countries to ensure that they paid their levies promptly to enable the sub-regional body to carry out its programmes. The Ondo State Government 21-man task force on farmers is ready to commence one on one interface with all the camp heads and farmers to encourage best practices in government’s forest reserves. Telecommunication giant, MTN on Tuesday closed its case over an alleged N300m copyright infringement suit involving an Abuja-based musician, Liberty Williams.
