The Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has approved the appointment of Prof. Adesegun Fatusi as the new Vice-Chancellor of the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, Ondo State, with immediate effect. In a bid to stem the spread of the Coronavirus, Ogun Government has called on the leadership of the Redeemed Christians Church of God (RCCG) to join the government in enlightening its members. The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has empowered women and youths in Targeri, Birniwa Local Government Area of Jigawa. The authority distributed 110 sewing and grinding machines to the beneficiaries. Nigeria and the Japanese Government have signed an $18.2m grant agreement to strengthen the capacity of Network laboratories of the Nigeria Centre of Disease Control for accurate medical and laboratory investigations.
