The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has set up a peace initiative committee to look into disputes and other issues affecting its members. The ANLCA President, Mr Tony Nwabunike, made the disclosure during a visit to him by some members of the Murtala Muhammed Airport unit of the association, on Tuesday in Lagos. The National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Command in Adamawa says it seized about 20 tonnes of illicit drugs in different operations between 2015 and January 2020. Mr Bello Idris, the state’s NDLEA Commander said this at Security Lecture Against Kidnapping organised by Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) in Yola on Tuesday. The Ogun Assembly, on Tuesday, called on the executive arm to create a database for the regulation of the activities of Okada riders as a way of forestalling security threat in the state. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibadan zonal office, has arrested a 60-year-old farmer for allegedly attempting to smuggle substance suspected to be illicit drug for his son currently in its custody.
