The Federal Government has reversed the suspension of the Managing Director of Rural Electricity Agency (REA) Mrs Damilola Ogunbiyi. Ogunbiyi was suspended by the Minister of Power over alleged malpractices on Dec 31. Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi has taken delivery of water equipment worth #1.4Billion for the ongoing rehabilitation work at Ero dam, a project which the governor said would provide potable water for 10 local government areas of the State. The National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP) says it is working toward reducing malaria burden in the country by 13 per cent in 2023. The Coordinator of the programme, Dr Audu Mohammed, told News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Monday that Nigeria currently accounted for 25 per cent of the global malaria burden. A team of Chinese doctors has successfully conducted the country’s first robot-assisted brain angiography in a Beijing hospital, Science and Technology Daily reported on Monday.
